Lixouri is the second biggest city of island and the access is achieved by ferry boat. Is a modern city in small distance from ancient Palli, one from the four cities that comprised the 'kefalliniaki tetrapolin' in greek. The city is divided in two by a small stream and the square is dominated by the statue of the poet Andrew Laskaratou ,who is looking at town.
